TEK4’s optional DAC (Drill After Coating) technology offers a precision solution for removing non-conductive coatings using a high-frequency fibre laser. Fully integrated within our FHD EDM machines, this innovation enables seamless drilling after coating—without the need to transfer parts between separate systems.

By combining the EDM head and laser head in a single machine, DAC ensures perfect geometric alignment between both processes. This not only reduces lead times but also minimises handling, streamlines production, and lowers inventory requirements.
